Product and formula

Nineteen active ingredients working together, including biotin, zinc, the antioxidant vitamins C and E, methylsulfonylmethane, flaxseed, silicon and the full B complex. Every dose is published on the ingredients page. There are no proprietary blends.

Collagen is an animal-derived ingredient, which puts it out of reach for anyone eating halal or plant-based. Rather than include it, we built the formula around nineteen other active ingredients, so the same bottle works for everyone without asking anyone to compromise.

500 mcg per capsule, one capsule daily. The full list of all nineteen actives and their amounts is on the ingredients page, exactly as submitted to Health Canada.

Yes to all three. The non-medicinal ingredients are silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, cellulose and hypromellose. The lecithin is from sunflower seed rather than soy.

Halal and vegan

Yes. Tryfecta is dual certified, halal and vegan. There are no animal-derived ingredients in the formula, and the capsule shell is vegetable cellulose rather than gelatin.

Yes. The capsule shell is hypromellose, a vegetable cellulose, rather than gelatin. The lecithin comes from sunflower seed. Every active in the formula is plant sourced, mineral or synthetic.

Hypromellose, which is a vegetable cellulose. Most capsules on the market are gelatin, which is animal derived. There is no gelatin anywhere in this product.

Taking it

One capsule, once daily, for adults only. Each bottle holds 60 capsules, so a bottle lasts two months. Read and follow the label.

We are not going to give you a number, because nobody honestly can. Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month and nails more slowly than that, so any change is gradual and individual. The claim Health Canada reviewed is that the product helps support healthy hair, skin and nails. We do not make claims beyond that one.

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use. That is the guidance on the label and we are not in a position to advise beyond it.

Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal bloating, constipation or indigestion. Hypersensitivity such as an allergy may occur in rare cases, in which case discontinue use. If you take other supplements or medication, speak to a healthcare practitioner first.

Regulatory

An NPN is a Natural Product Number. Health Canada issues one after reviewing a product's ingredients, doses, claims and safety evidence. Any natural health product sold legally in Canada carries one on the label, and you can look it up yourself in the Licensed Natural Health Products Database.

The application is under review with Health Canada. Nothing ships until the licence is issued. We will publish the NPN here and on the label the day it comes through. Join the waitlist and we will let you know.

Made in Canada using domestic and imported ingredients.
